DJ Tatiana: Beautiful, Intense, and Driven. This talented Los Angeles based DJ has played extensively throughout the United States with international appearances in: China, Indonesia, Mexico, Spain, Turkey, Greece, and Canada. Tatiana brings her diverse experience in the entertainment and high fashion industries into the mix offering a fresh and dynamic perspective for those who are ready for a challenge.
2006 saw the debut of Tatiana’s Jook Music with releases including: Ghost Rider, Control, and Beastweak. All titles are available digitally through Beatport. The label’s launch was marked by a nod to our collective roots with limited edition vinyl releases for both Ghost Rider and Control, both of which sold out quickly through Syntax Distribution. Fans can find additional releases on Beatport including collaborations with fellow Angelino George Centeno.
While attending U.C.L.A. as an English major, Tatiana immersed herself in ethnomusicology courses. Through her studies, Tatiana connected with a musical link between African ceremonial music of tribes such as the Dogon and Yoruba and her own Cuban heritage. It is here that Tatiana found her soul and a musical passion that sparked the early makings of her love for tribal music. This love is evident in her sets at clubs during peak hours.
As a versatile DJ, Tatiana can accommodate many settings and atmospheres. Tatiana has performed at high profile media events such as: ESPN's Winter X Games in Aspen, Fashion Week Los Angeles for Bebe, the Hot Import Nights Tour as headlining DJ which also saw a related DJ Mix Album release through BPM’s Kinkysweet Recordings, Miami’s annual Winter Music Conference, and the San Fernando Valley Film Festival. Additionally, Tatiana has performed at leading club venues around the world including the likes of Spundae and God’s Kitchen.
