DJ LYNNWOOD
"The first West Coast house DJ to win the affection of Chicago's finest" MixMag

So how does this West Coast player continue to pack floors, turn heads and set trends in a time when electronic dance music has been virtually wiped of the mainstream radar? "I'm a junkie" says DJ Lynnwood, a Southern California native and the face of INTERFERENCE, the Sound of the International Underground (one million listeners on fm radio each week). "The truth is, you can't stop it - the world loves to dance". Lynnwood speaks of house music like a true believer and his following concurs, as they gather to experience the sound of this world class mixmaster.

Mixing at major venues since age 10, DJ Lynnwood has felt this vibe before. It's the addictive nature of house music that keeps him, and his fans coming back for more. DJ Lynnwood has cultivated a massive following in the United States with his 10-year strong radio mix show, his live gigs and his top-selling compilation CD's.

"Wherever Lynnwood plays, he's going to bang it"
Bad Boy Bill (America's Favorite DJ, BPM Magazine; Menage Music)

In the 90's DJ Lynnwood played for the largest nightclub crowds in the country. On top of that, his residency at Club Metro in east Los Angeles exposed him to 5,000 heads every Saturday night. His 8 hour DJ sets were renowned and revered by every industry and lifestyle publication of the day. When he released his debut CD "Earth Shakin' Deep House" in 1996, the world got a taste, and Lynnwood's career as a touring DJ exploded.

In 1997, DJ Lynnwood signed with Chicago's hometown megalabel UC Music (Underground Construction) and subsequently released six best selling compilations alongside labelmates Alex Peace (Danceworks), DJ Bam Bam, Rick Garcia, Kevin Halstead, DJ Irene, Mazi, Ron Carroll, Ralphi Rosario, DJ Tragic and more. This success secured his fate as a staple in clubs and at raves all over the country.

"Lynnwood is one of the most technically proficient, creative DJ's of our time"
Swedish Egil (Sirius/PowerTools/Groove Radio)

DJ Lynnwood released two house anthems in '06 making the playlists of major dj's around the globe, and is now kicking things up a notch to incorporate more agressive, electrosoul elements - pinpointing the future of house music, and bringing him full circle to the uptempo, funky-dirty soulful sound that made him a living legend. His remix of Nelly Furtado's "Say It Right" just peaked at #1 on the Billboard Dance Chart. His soulful Funk Slippers single has been signed to Henry Street Records, alongside house legends like Kenny Dope, MAW, Bucketheads, Full Intention and more.

Today, Lynnwood continues to pull down over 150 gigs a year, both domestically and internationally at night clubs and major events, from Seattle to Sevilla.

"I want you to feel this music; bob your head, dance to it. If it turns you on, pumps you up, makes you happy, I did my job. If you talk about it tomorrow, then I rocked the house" DJ Lynnwood
